SPANISH ACTIVITY: Preparation of a poster
ACTIVITY: Preparation of a poster, large group work.
TEACHER: Lourdes Rodrigo
STUDENTS:
2 Groups of E.L.E. A1 of 15 students each.
OBJECTIVE:
Revise vocabulary of body parts and joints. Also the names of flat geometric figures and the material used.
MATERIALS:
• Continuous paper
• Colored cards
• Folios with printed names
• Waxes and markers
• Scissors and glue
ACTIVITY DEVELOPMENT:
The classroom is placed for work: the paper continues in the center on several tables, the rest of the material distributed in other tables in the corners. Oral explanation and practical demonstration of the work teacher expected of them. Division of work: some cut the names of the folios, others the geometric figures of the cards. Everyone makes a complete figure. All propose titles for the poster. Some label the chosen title. Finally, the poster is pasted on the classroom wall.
CONCLUSIONS: The objective of the activity (reviewing vocabulary) has been met, but only a few have enjoyed teamwork. I note that his level of plastic-artistic ability is nil in almost all cases. Surely for lack of practice. The proposal has not interested them from the beginning and the result has let them down. (Me too). They lack practice.
EVALUATION: similar exercise in a subsequent written control. Good results.
